Last night I began to apply the first round of edits and revisions to The Sweetest Death. I still have some ways to go, but any amount of progress is important.
Finding the second proofreader is going to be tough, because I need it done in such a short amount of time. You can never have too many pairs of fresh eyes looking at your manuscript, but it has to be the eyes of someone with a fairly objective bent and preferably no motive one way or the other. I can’t afford to pay someone for a proofread, so if money is the object, than I’m not your guy. Besides, payment is no guarantee of quality, and if I’m going to pay for a proofread, I may as well take a writing course at the local community college.
