Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte: A Guest Post By Dare Mick, Edited by Nathanielle Sean Crawford

Daryll’s guest post on my other blog counts as Art in Other Forms.

Confessions of a Cart Jockey

Inspired by Autumn and my love of coffee, I tried a Pumpkin Spice Latte and fell in love with the flavor immediately. Wanting to recreate the experience at home, I found a great mix of just the right spices to give me that Autumn flavor.

I got an unused spice container and mixed 1/2 teaspoon allspice, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon and about a 1/3 of a cup of sugar. I “mixed it all together and I drank it all up”. Actually, I added about a tablespoon or a pinch more right in with my coffee before brewing it and let it brew that way.

Prepare for impending awesomeness. It was delicious to say the least. I use cream and a little more sugar myself, but flavor yours the way you enjoy it.

Hope you like it!
