Tonight, I’ll be seeing a documentary called How To Build a Time Machine. It’s about two guys who actually try to build a time machine, inspired by HG Wells. There will be a Q and A with the principals but not the director.
The funny thing is, I had a chance to talk to the director of the film, because he directed two of the other films featured in the documentary. He stopped by when I was doing my shift with the VR setup but I was too busy making sure someone didn’t bump into the aforementioned two or three thousand dollar equipment that was generating the feature presentation.
Well, that and I have absolutely no idea what to ask him. Because I haven’t seen the film yet. And it’s possible that the only people I will want to talk to after tonight’s feature are the guys who were trying to build a time machine.
Then, it’s back to my writing. I’m working on a story that’s heavily inspired by Shirley Jackson’s The Lottery.
